Meet Dr. Sheamus Hart
Dr. Sheamus Hart grew up attending St. Thomas Aquinas School in Woodbridge and Pope Paul VI High School in Fairfax. He attended Villanova University in Pennsylvania, where he received his Bachelor of Science in biology.
Dr. Hart completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2011. He was recognized for achievements in clinical research and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society, and received the OKU William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, which is bestowed upon only one rising senior dental student.
He continued his education in orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated in December 2013. He received his Master of Science in orthodontics with a focus on the surgical management of patients undergoing orthodontic therapy.
Dr. Hart returned to the Woodbridge area, and has practiced here since early 2014. He is an Invisalign® Certified Provider and a specialist in functional appliance therapy with experience in a variety of bracket types and systems. Dr. Hart enjoys making the process of orthodontics fun for the patients and informative for their parents, empowering parents to understand the timing and progress of treatment.
Dr. Hart is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Virginia Dental Association.
Dr. Hart enjoys cycling, running, collecting and listening to music, and following Washington, DC sports.
